Completed in 2015, is this custom home in Georgetown, TX. It took a couple iterations of different design layouts to achieve the built house. A challenging project as the client wanted a contemporary design and needed to meet a lot of requirements, the original design direction did not meet their budget, we pivoted and started fresh with a more streamlined design and layout that still offers 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, a dedicated laundry room, open great room and kitchen area and a cozy library off the entry all within 1700 SF. The house was located on a busy street so minimizing direct windows was ideal for privacy and road noise. The high windows provided plenty of natural light while achieving the privacy, with accessible windows looking into the entry courtyard to maintain the direct road privacy. A fun project that came together nicely and completed all remote.
